Come for the curling. Stay for dinner. Meeting twice each month, this league combines an afternoon
game with one of the club’s favorite traditions—a shared dinner prepared or provided by members. It’s
a wonderful way to enjoy both the sport and the social side of the club. A small fee is required for each
person partaking in the dinner to cover the cost of the meal.

Build your confidence on the ice. The Instructional League is designed for newer curlers who want to
develop their skills and become more comfortable in regular league play. Each week focuses on a
different aspect of the game through a combination of instruction, drills, and game play led by a
certified instructor. Participants in our Learn to Curl program also take part in this league, but any
newer curler is welcome to attend whenever they want to improve their skills.

2:45 pm (Weekly Sign Up)
In your first five years of curling? There’s a competitive curling community just for you. The Grand
National Curling Club (GNCC) Five-and-Under program gives adult curlers with five or fewer years of
experience the chance to compete against others with similar skill levels. Our Five & Under League
provides a place for Ardsley curlers interested in these events to improve their skills, gain experience,
and connect with others interested in competing. Sign up week by week whenever your schedule
allows. Each session offers opportunities to improve your game through a mix of practice and game
play, meet potential teammates, and prepare for Five & Under bonspiels throughout the season.

5:00 pm (Weekly Sign Up)
Try doubles—whenever it fits your schedule. Sign up each week as an individual, a 2-person team or a
4-person sheet for the Olympic event where each curler throws about half their team’s shots and helps
formulate their team’s strategy. With no season-long commitment, it’s an easy way to try one of
curling’s fastest growing formats and get another game in before the week begins.
