About the Ardsley Curling Club Building Fund
After more than 50 years at its current location, the Ardsley Curling Club is losing its lease.
Who Are We?
Ardsley Curling Club (ACC) was founded in 1932 and is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to teaching and expanding the sport of curling. ACC's three-sheet curling facility is also home to two other clubs: the New York Caledonian Curling Club (one of the oldest curling clubs in the United States) and the St. Andrews Curling Club. ACC currently has over 200 members who curl in several leagues each week. We host several major tournaments every year, which attract clubs from around the country and beyond to the area to come and play. ACC has a dedicated youth curling program and has worked with local schools to promote curling among the students. Weekly, ACC hosts special needs individuals, including children, with on-ice assistance and training to help them enjoy the great sport of curling. Throughout the season, ACC hosts groups who come to the club to curl at corporate events, birthday parties and team-building events.
Our Current Situation
Since 1965, the Ardsley Curling Club has had a three-sheet curling facility built on land leased from the Ardsley Country Club. Recently, we received formal notification from the Country Club that they would not be renewing our lease after the 2020 season. We have been scouring Westchester County looking for potential locations for a new home.
How to Help
To help fund our efforts to find, secure, and outfit a new curling club, we are seeking donations from curling supporters. You can give directly to Ardsley Curling by clicking the PayPal button below.
